10 Reasons to Convert to Buddhism

1. You won't have to defend religious texts that promote or condone killing, genocide, slavery, homophobia, sexism or disregard for life in general. 2. Your religious doctrines won't be constantly disproven by new scientific discoveries. 3. Your most difficult theological questions will no longer be answered by phrases like "God works in mysterious ways" or "You can't understand the workings of God." 4. You can finally practice a religion that is not only deeply spiritually fulfilling, but also intellectually sound. 5. You can have a religious practice that has been repeatedly proven in scientific studies to be both psychologically and physically beneficial. 6. Questions of morality will no longer be answered with "because it says so in the [insert name of sacred text here]," but rather with the more universal principles of preventing suffering and developing happiness for all life. 7.
